To be fair, if there ever was a time to run into an out for just a distraction, it's there even though Bichette scored easily.

That's the thing though. Bichette scored easily. And the Orioles would've had to be stupid to be "fooled" by the distraction of Teoscar because he doesn't matter. They would've almost certainly just thrown home regardless of what Teoscar was doing at 2nd. And Bichette was in no danger of being caught.

I agree with that.

Smith should be in for Valera. It's minor but it doesn't make sense.

The reality is that the starting pitching has held up and the offense has completely crapped the bed down the stretch. It’s a serious concern and they need to figure why it happened so it doesn’t happen again.

Someone said something about changeups during the game. Apparently they have a problem with changeups, so teams have been throwing way more of them lately. I'm also seeing teams pitching more of the Jays like they do Vladdy by setting up low and away pitches, although that doesn't really work on Bichette and it's no wonder he seems to be the first to be breaking out of the slump.

Randall’s monthly OPS has Gotten worse every month. It will be hard to OPS below .550 in September but we believe in you Randall!

Grichuk is having a reverse year. Normally he starts off slow then ramps up towards the end of the season. He decided to start hot this year and end slow.
