Johnson is bringing the Cup here to Spokane on Thursday. I've never actually gotten to see it in person before so I'm pretty excited. They probably won't let me bring my own champagne but I'll be partying in spirit

Enjoy.

Won't see it with a Tampa player but I did get to see it in 2015 with Krueger and Oduya (that one hurt but I still felt like I had to take the chance) but then I also saw it when Hörnqvist brought it here to Stockholm when the Pens won. Both were fun times.

We can't though, just to add the Crunch guys puts us a couple million over the cap and we still need a backup goalie. We have no choice, we have to make a move. I get the feeling we're getting shot down by pretty much everyone. Zero leverage does that.
Perhaps Kuch, Sergy and Vasy can get the Russian Mafia to lean on some people. Just a thought.......

Don't really blame them for being somewhat calculated about this but probably want to do something before some teams use up that cap tomorrow going forward. Not really that worried about it as I trust our management but damn the suspense!

For the rumoured Point extension, doesn't the average AAV have to be at least what he is making in the final year of the current deal?

We'll be lucky if anything happens in 3 weeks and if the other team blabs about anything. Otherwise we won't know til it's happening

I want absolutely no part of Corey Perry. Would take Bogosian back as a Schenn replacement though.

I know we are pretty tight lipped about that stuff. Just feels like we should be hearing about something soon since jbb said teams would be more open on Monday Tuesday. We just won 2 cups in a row feel like a brat telling them to make a move already lol!

God VGK is so f***ing stupid it hurts. They're about to trade away their 3rd potential franchise center for an injured center for the sake of derping for the shiniest toy they can find again and this time at the expense of their most famous player.

Your window lasts longer when you build it on young players bro. And you might have been better

This isn't a legit source. That's pathetic for Buffalo. Smith is a UFA in a year so of no real long-term use, maybe he can be flipped for a 2nd + if they retain. Krebs is alright but is a pretty underwhelming main piece. Hague is a good young D but Buffalo already has Dahlin and now Power on the left. The 1st would be late. Ristolainen got almost that much.

Does anyone of you believe we'll re-sign Point in the next days?

If we are going by that tweets logic in that if you go by our past rfas year before their bridge deal ends we usually get them extended pretty shortly after ufa starts. So it's definitely possible if we go by how this organization has done things in the past. If you go by Kuch he was done on July 10th not long after ufa started. Hedman was signed July 1st and vasi was July 29th.

Edit: put appropriate dates

So, definitely it can happen in the next days...

Yeah, but "potential" doesn't mean much when it's Jack Eichel on the other side. He would turn them into favorites, IMO.
