How? Where are we at cap wise? Thought we needed to sign the kids?I heard we are still in on Perry.
I think we're done. RFAs will get negotiated with right up until camp as we typically do with ELCers. I think we've got -So...
right now...Gusev...? Perry?
I think that's a fake account. Not even close to proving what Point has proven. I don’t see how it’s a comparable at all
Perry is going to come at under a million, so cap is irrelevant as we can make whatever roster moves necessary to be compliant. Only issue would be the contract limit. How? Where are we at cap wise? Thought we needed to sign the kids?
Do you think that our third line will be fine?I think we're done. RFAs will get negotiated with right up until camp as we typically do with ELCers. I think we've got -
Palat - Point - Kucherov
Killorn - Cirelli - Stamkos
Katchouk - Colton - Joseph? Raddysh?
Maroon - Bellemarre - Stephens?
And D is now set.
Going to guess we let these young guys fight for spots. Third line will probably be a bit sheltered to start and we'll try to replace whoever doesn't work out at the deadline.
I don't want to roll with that line in the playoffs most likely (but I also forgot ABB in there so Cirelli may slide down). A third line of Colton - Cirelli - Katchouk/Joseph? That could work well.Do you think that our third line will be fine?
I'm scared by the fact we could have lost a lot of grit and Idk if our prospect can replace our former third liners on this aspect.
True. We can spend the first months of the regular season to test and to study our prospects, giving them a solid chance to play with our jerseyI don't want to roll with that line in the playoffs most likely (but I also forgot ABB in there so Cirelli may slide down). A third line of Colton - Cirelli - Katchouk/Joseph? That could work well.
But yeah - my guess is at the deadline we're going to be in the market for another Coleman/Goodrow type player to solidify our third line. Which is fine and probably better asset management than trying to do that today.
And all of our RFAs should come in around 1m or less. We have what - Colton and ABB to sign. ABB gets less than a million, maybe Colton comes in at like 1.1 or so. And then Foote gets less than a million as well and then we are pretty much done. Katchouk and Raddysh are going to come in low since they're not even NHLers yet, and then we'll have to do some roster gymnastics to move bodies around and maximize our LTIR space. We have about 3m in cap space left after all the signings and moving some players down and all the RFA's unsigned
