It was an idea. I didn't say it was a good idea.

nolan allan? seems like a reach
I’ve been impressed with how much he can rattle off the top of his head about these kids, especially when you consider how hard following them all has been this past year. Respect. He’s Sam Consentino. Does tremendous work covering junior hockey for Sportsnet. Very astute.

They did.In all seriousness, the lack of excitement with picking a defenseman at 8, is because if there is any gratification to be had, it’s a minimum of 3 years away. If things go the way they normally do with the Kings, the story with this type of pick will be about all the things he needs to do in order to earn the coaches trust. Is it wrong to want the Kings to draft the best remaining dynamic player with their first rounder?
Brown was injured
They did.
Clarke is an offensive machine, a play driver from the point and in transition. This isn't a five tooler, this is a dynamic weapon that will run a NHL power play. Unbelievable value at #8.

He’s the most interesting GM in hockey, maybe not in a good way.Last time I saw him he looked like The Riddler…
