I actually like Lambos, but heard there was a lot of uncertainty about his injury? Was it back? Can’t remember.

I just think it's a stanky comment to make considering nobody goalies win cups every other year it seems. No reason to waste a top pick for a Goalie unless you're being a devils advocate for the lulz.

Yeah but those 'nobody' goalies aren't a strategy, is all. I'm a big 'don't waste a 1st on a goalie' guy but if there was ever a draft to do it, it was this one. I just don't think it's a hard and fast rule like you're saying, especially once these guys got to the mid-first.

This^^^^^^ Wallstedt is a VERY, VERY good young goalie prospect and if you were going to risk some futures it was the time to do it.

Listen, I don't know what the heck NYR, STL, WPG or NSH wanted. They could have said "F-You Blake, we want Turcotte" I don't know, but he interested them enough to pick-up the phone.
