Well I have that feeling that this is just the draft for him...and that we might be well served this year.

Keep saying that the draft needs to be changed. 1st round should be in relation to the playoffs. The rest from 2nd to 7th round should be in relation to the regular season.

Covid pretty much killed his chances as he really needed to come to NA.

He's listed at 5'3, his chances were never that high to begin with.

Same feel like another gamble for a third pair d-man. Habs need to trade for one or get Hamilton on the ufa market.. or just take a dive for this year.

I'd rather draft defensive dmen than defensive forwards.

He's drafted Harris, Fairbrother, Norlinder and Romanov in the 2nd and 3rd round. We have basically one early 2nd, two early 3rds, and two mid 3rds this year.

So hopefully with those 5 picks we can draft 1 or 2 more d prospects at the level of Harris, Fairbrother, Norlinder, and Romanov.

depends on how well timmins is prepared for the top 9...

I'm still a rebuild guy at heart. If we can land big UFA's great. We have the cap space.

But I can't come up with a realistic scenario of what we'd give Vancouver that they're looking for for the 9th pick.

They take Power with their #1, and get a 2nd in a deep draft in 2022.
