According to Canucks fans Chiarot isn't worth their 1st, but I absolutely think Benning would offer it for him.

I dont think so. However, I could see 9th OA for local kid Sam Reinhart.

Ha amazing! It will be fun to watch them and find out who the best one turns out to be in the end. Certainly legitimizes the Farrell hype. He had almost 20 points more than any of them and is only months older than some of them... he is a full year older than Coronato though... still...

I trust him with finding good d prospects. Especially in the first 3 rounds. But not so high on his picks at forward (though I like Poehling, Ylonen, Evans, Mysak, Tuch, and Farrell from recent years).

It's a good bet if we keep the pick that it will be a forward.. it's a shallow D crop after the top then more towards the middle rounds.

No sarcasm. Every press he's done since end of season he's said he's looking for a heavy, physical D. Chiarot fits especially at his cap hit.

It would be nice, but for the 9th overall I'd have to imagine he's looking for younger and more mobile and versatile than Chiarot - as much as I like Chiarot for us when he plays his role.

They made out like bandits. They parlayed one of the worst defenseman in the NHL for a top 15 pick and a 2nd.

Yeah, for sure. These next 3 drafts could really set them up well. Change the culture of the team too.

Wallstedt/Cossa, Power, Dahlin already a solid start. Add a top 3 next year, a top 5 in 2023. Probably have their core. Need to build around it.

We've got 4 guys from the Q that all look like good bets to be NHLers. I'd be happy with any one of them with the 1st. Go for big swings out of Europe with our 2nds.

Well, yeah, they paid to get rid of Ghost and got nothing back.

Then turned around and paid a 1st & 2nd for Risto, who is paid more than Ghost and is not better. Lol

L’Heureux is enticing. He needs to calm down a bit but having a guy like that on your team is better than having to play against him. Not sure of his true upside though.

It's either big big moves or sell and tank. That's what I'm hoping for.

I think the market will dictate.. MB really only loses one for one trades like Drouin for Sergachev.. he definitely has a price he will pay and won't chase if it goes beyond that.
