Svechkov is absolutely a pick I would love at this point but I think his hype train is gonna lead him into the top 10 - what do you think @Joey Bones @Edge ?
His hype hasn’t been reflected in mainstream rankings just yet. I think we’ll have a much clearer picture once McKenzie releases his final rankings, hopefully soon.Svechkov is absolutely a pick I would love at this point but I think his hype train is gonna lead him into the top 10 - what do you think @Joey Bones @Edge ?

Wallstedt, McTavish, Lucius and Raty falling could happen. So much unknown, but will be exciting to see.

Nashville picking up the 40th OA makes it four teams we could trade down with on the 15. They join Minnesota, Columbus and Detroit.
Raty right into the Rangers laps.
then again, with these outstanding numbers he might fall into the Sean Day range
IIRC the pick is 39th overall, but nonetheless, it's a nice grab for an early 2nd.

I want Helenius pretty bad.
I think he'd be a real nice addition, but I don't think he's going to have a real big impact on the game. Maybe down the line in the middle-6 department, but hard to tell right now.
What are your thoughts on Kapanen if we grab a 2nd rounder? I'd honestly be fine taking him with a late first if we had one.

3C—the reincarnation of Joel Otto. I do like my monsters. I’m thinking he’s not going to reach the 3rd round.
If he reaches the 3rd round, NYR needs to trade up. Luckily though NYR has the first pick of the 3rd round!!
…….and the Bruins or the Flyers find a way to snatch him up in the 2nd.
I have heard that Raty was trending in the right direction by the end of his season and playing more like the guy people thought he would be. For those that would know: true? I wonder if he just had a hiccup in adjusting to a men's league and had to figure out what worked before it started clicking again. If so, he really might be the guy to go after with the Ranger's pick. Man, I don't envy the choice at 15 if Svechkov, Raty, and Lucius are all sitting there. It really is a bit of a gambling tournament this year since players had limited time to play.
