That's why you can't just go by who has cap space a week ago. Raiders went from being above the cap to now being $50 mill under it.

Seeing some good NFL players getting cut today due to the lower salary cap.

Can't recall who had the quote from the GM who said, it's going to be a bloodbath/massacre next week. And here we are.

Agreed but many of these cap savings are the result of, as you said , cutting good players. For example the Raiders are now under the cap but are they even close to being the same team as last year?

Now it’s about them using those cap savings to either sign replacements for their 3 OL that they cut or sign Defense then use draft picks to obtain OL.

you cut guys with the hope that you can replace that position for less or pay for the upgrade. Like you opt not to pay Trent Brown $14 mill but sign Trent Williams for like $19 or $20 mill who is an upgrade.

Chiefs need to draft some tackles.
Actually that offensive line needs a retool.
Is there even a guarantee that Duvernay Tardiff returns to football?

wonder in this time of QB input if Mahomes was consulted that he’d lose both Tackles.
