Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I'm just getting to know a few of these players, but this is how I imagine it after watching the first couple scrimmages.
Newhook - Dach - Tomasino
McMichael - Cozens - Mercer
Krebs - Byfield - Jarvis
Perfetti - Holloway - Quinn
Suzuki/Rees
The contentious cut here is bound to be Zary - He has the hands to play with anybody but he was getting stripped by backcheckers here. When the pace picks up I question him more. There are a lot of players I'd like to see tried with Dach and Tomasino - I have it Newhook here but I'm curious about Perfetti in that spot as well.

I doubt the pace in the tournament will be much higher than the Team Canada scrimmages if at all.
Right, what I meant was that the pace is very high and I'm questioning Zary more now than in juniors. The ideal is you put someone on that line who has his hands but can keep pace better.

two players on team Canada have tested positive for Covid.this could put the team out of the tournament. Alberta is the hot spot in Canada. in hind site should have went to a smaller venue.maybe London. too late now.
No it won't. We're still a month out from the tournament. The final team will quarantine before the start of the tournament. This is no big deal.

I thought that the players were in a bubble already. This looks pretty irresponsible of Hockey Canada. This likely has no impact on the tournament taking place but it is quite disappointing.

Lol. Covid is a joke anyways.... this will not threaten the tournament. The test is highly unreliable, it can't tell the difference between dead and not-dead virus. I know from experience.
Nobody cares about your thoughts on Covid. People like yourself throw around the "sheep" comment, yet want people to follow you around like a sheep.

I agree. This will pass and the players will get into the bubble.
I still think they could / should have bubbled really early. They're in Canada so it wouldn't require a lot of logistics.

This is unbelievable! Now, we are all questionning HC pre-camp protocol/procedure.
1. Did the staff and team members, at least, quarantine themselves for 1 week prior to coming to camp? Was there a test prior to 1-week quarantine and one prior to camp entry?
2. How did 2 staff members and 2 players contracted the virus?
Now, this just ruined everything. You may have to quarantine all 46 players and staff. Jesus God, and Curse to all who supports the CPP.

I will be shocked if the tournament actually happens. The Alberta government just set a lot of guidelines that will make it hard to continue.

I think there's a big cost to creating a bubble. I mean a real bubble where all the service workers (food, laundry, cleaning) are also quarantined.

Don’t think it will affect the tourney at this point. Kenney even said in the press conference that leagues can apply for exemption and Ryan Rishaug is reporting that HC and the AB government have been working together on a plan for some time now

Interesting. There were supposed to be cuts tonight. I wonder when those will come now that the final game has been cancelled/postponed.
