Try downloading TSN Go directly to your TV.

Byfield will be given every chance to succeed in this tournament. Most of these players are still getting acclimated with playing games again. So chemistry will develop immediately with some and a process for others. Byfield needs to use his size, strength and speed to create chances by winning the battles forechecking and create opportunity for his teammates and himself. Needs a couple solid hits play hard and rest will come.

On any Android device it only shows ESPN when you type in TSN
If you are in the US then you wouldnt get access to any TSN shows or apps. You would need the NHL Network. Not the standalone NHL app, but a provider who gives you access to the NHL network. Im currently using FuboTv. Pretty sure they give you a free trial, might have to upgrade to the sports pack or something, I cant remember.

That's it in a nutshell, but will he exert himself that way? We are all waiting for him to do so.

He needs confidence, a real nice play that presents itself after hard work.

Suzuki over Tomasino again. I am surprised at that move .. Although they may be trying to find some chemistry with Byfield which would not surprise me.

Man those lines are bad.

Dach on the wing is dumb. He's proven to be an NHL capable centerman, and Cozens is definitely the better fit for the wing than he is.

RW Quinn at LW and LW Pelletier at RW seems unnecessary. I'm also skeptical that Suzuki is a better player than Tomasino at RW.

4 deep lines but should have at least one line focused on shutting down the oppositions top players. Something like Holloway-Zary-Krebs/Mercer.

They currently have Holloway - Newhook - Pelletier as the shut down line ... they have a ton of options to tweak that if need be. I would have Newhook as one of my top 2 Cs in an offensive role. I think if your looking at prioritizing a shut down line , I would put Cozens at C on it. This team is as deep as any I can remember and there are a lot of different ways to make/ set up the lines with varying rationale for the fits. I liked the McMichael - Cozens - Dach Idea .. They put Quinn in there and moved McMichael to C.. When they did that I thought they were trying to balance the lines and have complimentary types of players on each line. A defensive conscience; a play driver/play maker and a goal scorer.

Dach - Play driver, Cozens ( D conscience) , Quinn goal scorer
Holloway (D conscience), Newhook - Play driver, Pelletier goal scorer (?)
Perfetti - Play driver, McMicheal (Goal scorer), Krebs (D conscience)
Zary - (D Conscience), Byfield (Goal scorer), Suzuki Play Driver/Play maker

just my take .. on why they may be set up the way they are. all of them can score to some degree and drive play as well. I like Pelletier and he is a smart versatile player but if that line is the shut down line , I might have Mercer in there. If that line is used to add offense , I'd probably go Tomasino .. I guess Pelletier fits in the middle of that.

Mcmichael is the 4c?

And which of those d pairing will be in the pressbox?

There is no bottom-6 or anything on this team. It’s the top line (which will honestly probably get pretty similar 5v5 ice time but a majority of PP time), Newhook’s possession line that will presumably be out for a majority of the opposing team’s top line shifts, and then two complementary scoring lines. I like it.

Also, I’m pretty sure in this year’s tournament, you’re allowed to have 20 skaters on the bench. It’s possible they go with 12 forwards and 8 defense. We’ll have to see how things play out.

I was unaware of this, but a fellow Avs poster recently pointed out that Newhook started killing penalties for BC last year and was out late in the game protecting leads. So, he might have more two-way ability than one would expect.

Definitely wouldn’t take Cozens off the top line. Just doesn’t make sense to me to want to tweak it so that Newhook gets a more offensive role only to take out a center that’s even better offensively. I do agree that I’d like to see McMichael back on the top line.

As for the so called “checking line”, I think too many people are getting caught up in the traditional notion of what that means. This isn’t a line of Kris Draper type, defense-first guys. These guys may be going head-to-head against some big opposition lines, but they are going to shut them down by dominating possession in the offensive zone and getting a ton of scoring chances. This will still be an offensive unit.

I didn't say that bolded. I said if they wanted to prioritize a shut down line.. I would have him as my C. I wasn't suggesting they do that.
