Line Combos: 2021 Boston Bruins Lines

Smith also had the only goal last night, playing on the 3rd line. He looked great with Marchand and Bergy, but he doesn't need them to succeed. I support keeping Pasta with those two, and I like Smith as the shooter on line 2.
Pretty worrying that Smith plays his game no matter what but Pasta needs Marchand to succeed. He should be better than this.

Pasta is just going through a slump. He looks off on the power play too especially his one timer and doesn’t seem to have that shooting mentality.

Cassidy is kind of an idiot, isn’t he

Smith was putting up great numbers with PB and BM so naturally he will keep them separated

I'm sure the logic is that Pastrnak will in all likelihood return to the top line before the playoffs, therefore it makes the most sense to try to build some chemistry with the resulting second line.

To start:

Marchand - Bergeron - Smith
Hall - Krejci - Pasta
Ritchie - Coyle - Debrusk
Frederic - Kuraly - Lazar

Assuming Kase is out that is the best line-up of forwards they can run right now. You can mix and match, but those are the 12 guys I want dressed.

I actually like your forward lines more than the one's a just posted below. I forgot about Kuhlman, I think he is better at the moment than Frederic, although that is the type of thing that can change on a dime.

I don't get Clifton over Miller at all. Miller is a big impact player when he is in the lineup. Clifton is meh, I actually slightly prefer Kampfer.

I put Clifton over Miller so the 3rd pair would have a puck mover. Miller and Lauzon are both stay home types and Lauzon, IMO, struggles with breakouts. Lauzon-Clifton and Zboril-Miller each have an offensive minded guy.

IMO you're selling Miller short. He isn't too bad a puck mover. But get what you're saying PM.

I was going back and forth on the combination

But Hall Krejci Pasta could be a worry on the D end

Marchand Bergeron Pasta (Pasta has to get it together)
Hall Krejci Smith
Ritchie Coyle Debrusk
Kuhlman/Blidh Kuraly Lazar

Lauzon McAvoy
Reilly Miller
Zboril Clifton

my guess
