Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said Neal aggravated an injury when speaking to reporters.

(James - try to give simpler answers to the questions.)

Listening to some of these dumb post game questions makes me wanna sprain an ankle from time to time, that's for sure.

Any news on what all these injuries are? I am guessing Perron has a concussion - what a shame too, I hope he's OK long term. I'm surprised there wasn't more anger around that hit he took, the opposing player looked like he launched himself directly at Perron's head, leaving his feet in the process.

How do you aggregate an injury when speaking?

It's just weird sentence structure, the injury didn't happen when speaking.

So with Neal and Kostin out a while, and maybe Perron, looks like it’s Logan Brown time in STL.

I wasn’t a fan of him at all from the little bit I saw in preseason but JR just posted a tweet saying people in the Blues organization were pleasantly surprised at the good attitude he had going to Springfield and his work ethic while there. He was around PPG for them.

My expectations are still low but I’m sure he realizes the clock is ticking and he has to make the most of this opportunity - in his hometown, no less. Interested to see the lines for Tuesday and how he looks.

I’m honestly shocked we haven’t waived Walman yet.

With all these forwards out, it just seems to make way more sense than having 8 D on the roster. Also, Kostin/Neal getting moved to LTIR when it was originally said they were day to day really caught me by surprise.

Maybe we just keep running 11/7 with a F and D sitting, but I’d just rather have someone like MacMac or Toropchenko get called up before this Florida trip. I guess I’m just ranting at this point, but it just doesn’t make sense to me.

Yeah, I’m assuming it’s just because we don’t really have any other forwards in Springfield that we really need to get a look at but I agree. I hope that is coming soon.

It’s so odd that both Neal and Kostin got hurt in practice and there are no details about injury or severity or when they might return. With Neal they didn’t even say it was ltir but we know it is bc of cap.

I'm pretty ok with using Bortz as a 7D/12F utility man for the short term, but yeah I don't see a reason to keep Walman around. He's firmly in the press box at this point, and I can't see him being vital to the team for the foreseeable future.

Looking forward to seeing what Brown can do. Hope he can surprise some people and make a positive impact.

I just scraped a barrel and all that was left was some Brown stuff.

Honestly, I like running 7D at the moment. It gives us good situational flexibility to cover up some of our defensive weaknesses and our forward group is deep enough to absorb the extra ice time. Even without Perron, our top 9 is deep enough that I'm fine with all 3 lines eating 13+ even strength minutes. Honestly, I'd rather increase the ice time of the top 9 than rely on a Joshua-Bozak-Brown (or other) 4th line getting our normal amount of 4th line minutes. Sprinkle Bozak into the top 9 for a few extra shifts as needed and the forward group is in good shape with just 11 guys. I'm not eager to get a 12th forward into the lineup, so I'm fine just having 12 healthy forwards on the roster for now.

An injury could change this, but until then I like running 11F/7D with just one healthy scratch forward instead of risking Walman to waivers at the moment. You can never have too much defensive depth, so put off risking it until you have to.

I HATE ESPN. Why are they doing this crap again? I'm ****ing over it.

I'm a ****ing season ticket holder and a cable subscriber and I shouldn't have to sign up for stupid CRAP streaming services on top of that to watch all of the games. ESPN has been a total disaster in my book. I hate when they play games like this.

Just show us all the ****ing games you stupid greedy ****s.

I have Hulu as part of a Disney package and am actually thinking of canceling it for everything (my kids might squawk) because the Blues/NHL/ESPN doing that irritates me that much

my vision of the NHL/ESPN meeting in a boardroom discussing broadcasts:
NHL: we have all the games covered now
ESPN: how about we move some to streaming only? we will share the extra money with you
NHL: (giggling) I love it! Extra money and we get to kick a bunch of fans in the nuts!!
ESPN: I know! That's even better than the money!!

They're doing it 2 more times as well.

I can't remember single game that NBC didn't air, and now in two months ESPN has screwed us out of two games?

So frustrating. I HATE IT.

ESPN = TOTAL CRAP ANTI CONSUMER BULL****

I dint get it. For like $6 a month you can watch basically every game across the league, plus a bunch of other sporting events. Some folks I think just like to complain.
