The Comets just like Belleville did before them have frustrated Quinn with tight checking and physical play. At this point neither Quinn nor Holtz have figured out how to play in a tight checking playoff hockey situation. And yeah it has nothing to do with Peterka who looks to be a steal at #34. Just so much speed and a great motor.

Apologies if there's a more appropriate thread, I looked around and didn't really see an all encompassing prospects thread. Looking for info on players who made their NHL debut last season. Can anyone here tell me a bit about these guys like what role they played last season, what type of player they are and what their future outlook could be? Thanks!!

Fabian Zetterlund
Mason Geertsen
Nikita Okhotiuk
Reilly Walsh

I'm ok with consistent pressure as well. It's a shame when people with similar and decent interests don't work as a collective.

Fortunately it seems as if there's an amazing amount of Finnish and Swedish prospects this year who are going to join their brothers and sisters playing ice hockey all over the North Atlantic.
I like your idea of hiring Brylin as a head coach. When we will draft Perevalov in the second round, and he will join the Devils with Shakir and Arseniy, Misyul and Zaitsev could turn their career through the Atlantic Ocean and join finnish and Swedish devils Brothers, Brylin will help all of them to adapt.
I didn't think before about that, but thank you. That could make sense.

Once again the Comets are pressured and they continue to make errant passes and turn it over.

Deleo gets a good chance and Dell comes up big.

Peterka gets by a Comet who basically pulled him down. No call.

Comets dump the puck with no forecheck. Automatic recovery by the Amerks.

Schmid comes up big on a deflection.

Drive byes with a stick sweep is not forechecking.

Comets are not connecting on their passes. Amerks are getting the puck to one another and getting shots. 6 at the moment to 1 for the Comets. Now 7 shots and we haven' played 5 minutes.

Amerks continue to mount pressure. Comets get in and Zetterlund flubs a pass to him and it's back to the Amerks.

Comets have mounted zero pressure. one shot and done and have only put one of them on net.

My take is the Amerks are flying and the Comets are moving in slow motion.

If there is a Comet that won't stop pushing, it's Greer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scores on a single super effort in which he wouldn't be denied.

Greer scores his 4th of the series on just the Comets 2nd shot.

12:04 remaining.

It's the same guys for the Comets all series long.

Greer, Russo, and Zetterlund getting points every game.

9 of the Comets 10 goals have come from the vets.
4 Greer, Russo 2, Gambardella, Schmelzer, Flynn.
Thompson the only youngen to score.

The kids are sleep walking in terms of offense.

Thompson gets in and with a chance to get a shot from inside the dot chooses to force a pass through the guy leaning on him and the defender on the guy he's passing to. It doesn't come close to working. Shoot it off the pads and let your mate crash the net for the rebound.

Schmid his holding his team in this.

Going the other way and Russo is high sticked and slides head first into the net. Crowd and Amerks coach irate.

Comets to the PP.

Holtz one timer saved and Greer misses the net.

Comets zone entry is terrible way too slow and can't get to short dumps.

Comets outmanned and the Amerks score on the rebound.

Amerks move their feet and the Comets glide. It allows them to get to pucks ahead of the Comets over and over again.

Amerks line up 3-2 at their own blueline and the Comets cannot get in.

Deleo gets another good chance but nobody is there to help out. one and done.
