The 1st was sloppy on the part of both teams with loose D and lots of scoring chances muffed, shots wide, off the posts and easy saves on a bunch of them and all of a sudden big keeper stops on the few shots they did get on net.

Belleville is desperate to make the playoffs and did take the last spot just last night with a 2-1 win over Rochester. Comets cannot relax against a team in this situation.

2nd will open 4 on 4. Then in 3 seconds Bellville will go on the PP for about 1 minute.

Comets trow it down with 23 to go.

Huge stop by Mitens from the edge of the circle in the slot. Bounced off him high and he snatched it for a whistle.

Comets keep turning it over in their own zone and the Sens buzz. Take advantage of a puck hit with a hi8gh stick for a whistle.

This is the same way they let Belleville defeat them twice last week. Sloppy d in their own zone. That's not how successfulplayoff teams play in their own end.

A Sens shot off the head of Mitens and our of play.

Comets continue to mess up in their own zoneand an innocent shot beats Mitens and it's 1-1.

Comets continue to try and force passes from the boards through traffic and it doesn't work.

Walsh takes the puck down low, centers it, and draws a penalty.

PP

Low IQ on the part of the Comets. Player loses his helmet and has to leave the ice and beifre he even got going the Comets shot one to the keeper for a whistle.

Comets work it around and shoot, shoot, shoot. Same D-man has gone down and blocked 3 shots after being injured on the 1st one.

Wotherspoon and Clarke race to the net and Woth got insude him at the crease and both went into the boards on their sides and Clarke got the worst of it..

Comets blow the small amount left of their PP by icing it.

That was finally a good PP by the Comets. First one in 2 games. 0/7 last night and didn't look good on any of them.

Back to the same old forcing of passes. Work slow onthe perimeter and drawa Sen into them and thenm turn it over to him fro the clear. It is nor offensive pressure.

The inept puck handling by the Comets is so damned frustrating!!!!!!

It leads to turnovers in all 3 zones. Every line, every D-man, every forward. How can it be that widespread. It can't be the puck because their opponents are nowhere near as inept.

Man are the Sens getting open shot chances. Keep missing the net. Comets don't get those shots every rush like that.

A big hit by Deleo. He seems to be dishing out at least one of those every game lately. Maybe trying to show the kids you have to do this in the playoffs.

Now OK and Sabourin go at it.

Mitens goes out behind the net, loses the puck, and gets it blown by him before he gets back.

2-1 Belleville with 15 seconds left.

They just can't seem to figure out to get past this team. tonight would be 3 losses in a row to the Sens and that would be 3 of the last 5 games.

Still a period to go. Lots can happen. Figure this out boys!
Dineen, earn your money! Give these guys a plan.

Right now it's every man for himself in a helter, skelter, mish mash in both ends with an occasional burst of something resembling an offensive attack when they finally stop forcing passes or trying to get it done alone, neither of which works.

Their turnovers happen time and again as while under pressure they move the stick back and forth trying to get the puck set up just right to start a breakout or make a short dick pass. It ends up turned over time after time and they just keep doing it. In that situation just get the ****ing thing out of your zone.

In the other end get the pressured puck deep in the O-zone! Quit ****ing with it out there. There's no one behind you and maybe only one guy trying to defend if you turn it over. Prevent the odd man rushes back to your own zone.

The forced feeds on the PP occur because NOBODY IS MOVING except the guy with the puck and instead of getting them to do such, he forces the pass that ruins the PP. It's either cleared or a battle for the puck ensues, which ends up on the boards and they lose many more of those battles than they win. That's not how PPs function!!!!!!!!
