Deleo on a turnover in the crease and he's stopped.
Back up ice and again just like the last time the Sens come back the other way and ring a bullet off the post. Very bad defensive play there.
3-2 Sens.
Forwards not giving the D much of a pass opening. Gaps way too far up ice.

Man Halonen makes me reconsider all those NHLe models. He doesn't look good at all. Slow, doesn't handle the puck well...I really don't see what NJ liked out of him.
Holtz a glorious chance by Holtz and his 1-timer is stopped. This is the kind of play the Comets work all game for and when they come up empty it doesn't bode well by game's end. Holtz has had 3 of them thus far eliciting a few 1,000 o-o-o-oh's and a-a-a-ah's but no goal.

3rd gets underway and the Comets to the PP 20 seconds in.
Thompson a 1-timer on a pass from HOltz and it's stopped.

I have to believe the teams playing the Comets know the Comets PP is geared to cross ice 1-timers and the goalies are moving to stop it like they know it's coming.

Comets back to the PP.
Comets can't hold multiple passes for 30 seconds.
Comets can't gain possession along the boards.
A constant struggle just to make a pass with an extra man.
That PP just simply sucked.

Every pass is trouble to take and then a struggle to make another if they gain possession. Almost always standing still and the onrushing defenders get there to cause trouble.
