If this season continues on this path do we go full rebuild in the offseason?

No!! No more tear down rebuilds. They still haven’t dug out from their first one and that was over a decade ago now! They need to continue to learn how to win and more losing seasons rebuilding doesn’t do that. This is really only the second season they even had winning expectations. We are still relatively early in this newest rebuild.
This team doesn’t need a tear down. They just need to add a couple key veteran players. I think even one good top 6 veteran forward could make a big difference, if it’s the right guy. They need someone that can help these younger guys in those clutch moments.
Something like the ROR trade again would be perfect IMO.
At worst, maybe they need to switch out a core guy or two for more a veteran player (or two) that can be part of the core.

You can break the drought with this core - absolutely do not blow it up. This team is another Zucker signing and a notable trade to provide an improvement on Jokiharju's spot from being a good team.

I don't see a 'Move Them Now' option. Tonight's win was nice but I think the mental block on this organization is past the point of return. Maybe if they wanted to try adding as many veteran guys as possible to complement the "core" that is redeemable (Dahlin, Quinn, Peterka, Powers) I could feel a little optimistic but Thompson, Tuch, and Cozens playing a leadership role in this locker room seems like a recipe for more mental midget outcomes.

I'm pretty sure people said that when they tore down the previous core and traded away Eichel, Reinhart, and Risto...
People were over the moon when they traded Risto. Eichel and Reinhart more to your point. Although I think a lot of casual fans wanted to move on from both.
If they miss and don’t want to be here I’d think they shop Greenway and Tuch.

He doesn't really give "contract year vibes" for me, as I think he's been a pretty consistent player since they got him. What worries me is his "effectiveness" and his legs if we decide to sign him longer term.

I also lean towards no rebuild. If they miss the playoffs again, purge the front office and coaching staff. Lindy can stay on as head coach and act as the de facto President of Hockey Ops. Let him build a front office and a coaching staff. The front office has 2 directives: acquire a top 6 center and a top 4 defensive defenseman. Lindy has one directive: find someone who can fix the PP. Between those changes and another year of development for the kids, I think this team would be pretty good.
Taking out personal bias and trying to approach this from a analytical point of view, it would be one thing is if we had years of success and were transitioning and it didn't work.
But to sell off what limited top end talent we have would be almost franchise ending at this point. Keep Dahlin, Tage, Peterka, and Tuch. Find a good partner for Power. Then figure out the middle six. You almost have to go all in with what we have at this point because another rebuild would literally mean an empty building.

Just a reminder, that there's a pretty good chance that if we bring in a GM, that we might be headed to a rebuild anyways. It may just be as much of a reason as the players, while talented, may not fit what the new management team may have in their vision. They may have different ideas of what they want out of their players, and if there's one thing we know about this crop of players, they haven't shown that they can be used in any sort of game plan as a group.
There may be a rebuild, but the new GM might have pieces he can use in trades to reshape the team. It may not require a full tear down as we have seen in the past.

Why does inviting a new GM mean a rebuild? It doesn't always happen, there are even many examples. Moreover, Buffalo doesn't need a rebuild, we are doing well with the roster, although there are questions. We just need a more qualified and aggressive GM than Adams. Look at Florida and New Jersey as an example.

Frankly, I'd keep Power too. He's showing signs that he's "getting it" as far as using his body. It's not consistent yet, but every game he does a few things with his body that he didn't do last year. Benson's on my "no way" list too.
I also really like what I see out of McLeod and would try to Jarnkrok him -- long term deal at a reasonable AAV for a defensively-responsible 3rd line C who's an ace PKer and isn't completely deficient offensively.
