Schmid has been overplayed in Utica and Daws has been overplayed in NJ. How long before Hammond is back so Nico can get some rest?

Hopefully this weekend for the b2b but who the hell knows what the plan is at goal. (Not the fans.)

Schmid has played 18 of 24. The condensed Covid makeup schedules should end after this season.

Still last season Binghamton went with Gilles Senn (cool, no problem, let's see what he's got), Evan Cormier (why after the previous season?), Jeremy Brodeur (cool, but only 3 out of 34 games) over bringing back Zane McIntyre and his four wonderful games played.

Just imagine a Gilles/Gillies tandem. One can only dream.

Comets and Crunch going back and forth for the entire 2nd period to date, but the Comets like in the 1st keep missin the net on really good chances. Crunch keep getting their shots on goal in similar situations. Schmid has faced 21 shots thus far with 12 to go in the 2nd period.

Comets keep trying to get the perfect chance vs a close checking system and it doesn't work. Have to shoot any time a chance is their, drive the net, get screens, set up tips. and get some dirty goals. You don't have to be pretty all the time!

It's nearing playoff tieme and the Comets need to understand the games will be a close checking grind with ittle open ice and they might as well get used to how you get through that right now. That's Dineen's job to drive home.

Crunch doing just what I explained. They are launching shots into crowded net fronts time after time.

Walsh was just below the dot and instead of shooting dropped it back and it ended up turned over.

I have not liked the Comets PK system all season. It's leaving the top half of the ice open all PK. They only challenge the Puck if it's inside the circle.

Greer and Gauthier get more offensive pressure on the PK than the rest of the tea,m 5 on 5.

Zettrerlund another great chance and again misses the net.

Holtz knocked down too long after releasing his shot. Comets to the PP on an interference cause.

4 Crunch on the right boards contesting 2 Comets. It finally came loose at the point and it was immediately sent to a wide open Schmelzer who took the pass and turned and fired. GOAL #2 on 8 shots..

2-0

Comets draw a penalty with 4 seconds to go as Greer is dragged down.

4 second play or 1:56 PP to start the 3rd.

Dineen should be peeling paint off the wall with only 1 locker room message repeated several times.

"SHOOT THE ****ing PUCK. Quit being so cute and just SHOOT whenever you see an opportunity. Do you hear me? SHOOT THE ****ING PUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
