I havent looked at the chart but the Ducks must have had 3 to 1 more high quality scoring chances... SOG were basically the same... JQ refuse to die mentality.. just 32 and 14 have that legendary clutch capability. JQ is a legend.

I feel like it may have been more like 4 or 5 to 1 quality chances, save for the first 10 or so mins of the game. Quick has his really bad, overplay everything games but can't deny that when he's on, he's one of the best we will ever see. Doubtful LA ever gets another goalie like him in our lifetimes

Lemieux looks like he stopped trying. Kupari isn't much of a player (yet). Kaliyev is too slow for the NHL game as of now.

Better to go through some years of a painful rebuild, and then become a serious contender. Their core is getting older, and the Ducks kids have been better than theirs. I understand. Really hoped my Canucks could keep the streak going but knew they’d need help to get to the Playoffs.

I like Kaliyev a lot but the skating is obviously a concern in the present and in the future when it comes to 5 on 5. If the Kings use him on the PP he is going to score goals because he has a lethal shot. Not a bad floor to have, but whether he becomes an all around high-end scorer comes down to whether he can be a top 6 forward.

Edit, as far as lineup changes. What more can they do? The guys that got scratched were really struggling too. I mean if you put in QB and sit Lemieux you lose toughness while replacing one non-producer with another.
