Todd is a ****ing idiot in that press conference. Can't even pronounce Kaliyev's name. And lol at that comment about the first line. Unreal

No one would touch Iafallo if he were waived today. There are slumps, this is not a slump, it's 2/3 of the season. It's either a player that is playing through an injury or it's a player who is completely cooked.

I'd waive him because right now he is not one of the 14 best forwards in the organization and should be in Ontario trying to see if he can get his game back or should be on IR if he is hurt.

Imagine playing 25 mins every night at Kopitars age and expecting to play well. Kopitar is playing bad but holy f*** maybe if you give the guy less minutes he can PUT IN BETTER SHIFTS. I can’t believe this shit. Didn’t they f***ing get a new coach to shorten kopitars icetime?

One thing about him - he has the ability to win you a game, but won't lose you one.
He's got size, a speed demon, electric, dynamic, physical, good hands, good shot. All the things AI is not.
AI cannot win you a game.

Sure, Rasmus does not bring that each shift and maybe only 2 or 3 times a game, but give him a chance.
He would only get more chances to shine, with more TOI and better linemates.
He's good defensively. Move him up.

Honestly I’m not ready to give up on Iafallo yet. He’s proven that he can be a great asset at times, but when it’s not working it’s not working. Move him down the lineup. Lower the expectations and give him a chance to get his mojo back. But you know, then they’d have to do something crazy like put Kaliyev on the top line, and f*** that!!

Babcock ran old f***s like Cleary into the ground rather than playing rookies.
It was maddening. Chicago's winning cups plugging in rookies and kids all over the lineup, and Babcock absolutely refused.
"The NHL is not a development league," he'd say.
On defense, first round picks like Kindl and Smith wallowed with 14 minutes a night (if they were lucky) while last-leg veterans like Salei and Markov and Quincey and whoever else they could find played in the top 4.

Overall, his 5 on 5 production isn't that far off from last year.
But 23 games 0-4-4???
The first 44 games he went 14-14-28 - which is about what you'd expect, right?

Babcock won some cups, so I guess you could forgive that since guys that win things, think theyre the reason why and so refuse to adjust... Not sure why TMac has that problem.

No idea, but right now he is not an NHL player. If he is injured just shut him down and call up Fagemo or JAD. If he's not injured the Kings have yet another horrific contract right as we were getting free of some other ones.

He won one-cup.
And he broke up the Datsyuk-Zetterberg line and never won another.
That motherf***er thought he was smarter than everyone and he really wasn't.
Datsyuk-Zetterberg were two HOF quality players who were greater than their sums when they played together.
If he goes
Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom
Hossa-Fillpula-Franzen
in 09, they win the cup.
But whatever. No point crying about spilled milk.

This slump started while Kempe was lighting it up on his line, so I didn't care. The line was playing well. Seemed like it was bad luck. But this has reached something far beyond bad luck.
This is like Steve Sax forgetting how to throw to first.

I never liked him.. thats right he took the Dux to the finals when Gigure was on fire but lost to NJ.. Yes he comes across as im smarter than everyone - zero sense of humor. Id rather have a guy like Torts or Sutter old school but so damn funny in their own way

Steve Sax - that was one of the weirdest things ever in sports. Re AI maybe his GF cheated on him and his soul has receded from his body... whatever it is, its really noticeable and maybe TMac is coddling him for something like that.
