Really though so happy Grundstrom took his spot and for f***'s sake they'd better let him keep it for once. If they trade him/let him walk over AA, I'm gonna be pissed. He's done nothing all year but be a good soldier, a well rounded all heart player, and a guy with a 20 goal scoring touch. Would be an absolute waste of an asset. of ALL the guys in that tier fighting for jobs, he's been the one who has consistently distinguished himself no matter the situation.

They have been winning a shit ton of games lately, but I think that was my favorite period in a long time.

It was a full team effort, no lags that required regaining momentum, just a really solid, consistent tone.

It's funny because Eakins was in the media saying that the Kings play an entirely locked down 1-3-1. I think he's afraid Verbeek is going to let him go no matter how the season turns out.

Also, the string of posts after the QB to Grundy goal might've been my favorite reaction in 14 years on these boards.

Blake had a good offseason, but re-signing AA was a major mistake. Many here were like WTF especially after securing Danault. 3 for 4 is pretty good with VA, PD and Edler. Sucks so bad that Edler got hurt.

It feels so good for the validation by having Grundstrom in and yet at the same time its absolutely infuriating that its taken this long for the coaching staff to see the obvious. I'm sure Athanasiou is a nice guy, but he has no place on his team and it baffles me that we even brought him back.

It's just insane because they literally picked up right where they left off before AA came in and f***ed everything up.

Grundstrom/Byfield instantly nearly 90%CF, best on the team, and 100% of the HDCF.

Yes it's a 'small sample size' but you have to say something for not skpping a beat with so much time out of the lineup. Dude just comes in and performs every time. They HAVE to see it now, right?
