Calgary and Edmonton have 5 or 6 games in hand. Both teams are playing well. At some point we will have another losing streak. Kings must stay consistent if they want to make the playoffs. Crazy only 35 games left after the summer break. Going to be a crazy second half.

Which goes back to what I said at the beginning of this thread. Why does QB have to play with Brown? He's got stone hands. Give him Iafallo or Arvy so that he has a chance to impress, but no, people had a beef with that. Whatever. Byfield can fly and with arvy or someone else on his wing along with AA, they could do some damage. Just saying.

Oh ok. Wasn't sure or not. I've already been disciplined lately. Don't want another one. It's not like I'll crawl into a hole and sink into deep depression if I get disciplined again, but you know, I want to stay off the naughty list.

What I've noticed on the PP, other that the usual personnel complaints, is that they can move the puck around fine, but they hold onto it for way too long. It's like they wait until the D has adjusted before passing or taking a shot. The whole point of that movement is to generate one-timers or create space to get the puck in around the net and go for rebounds. They just hesitate so much. Too much mind.

Time will tell if the signing was 1 year too long, but with Kopitar already slowing down I'd say at least in year 1 it's not holding any centermen back, yet...

He's also led the best line all season long. Any players on his line he's made better.

To me the bigger picture is that his leadership has been infectious with the entire team.

Him and the Lizotte line has been our identity and is why we are where we are.

They won and should finish top 3 in the table and qualify for the WC with a win over Panama at home in March, but nothing is a given.

I did get to watch the ending of the Kings game, so a good night all around.

Nice!!! Did Pulisic even play been reading he's been underwhelming at Chelsea. Rumor has it he may transfer to another team.

He came off the bench in this match and scored probably 3 minutes after entering. Was dangerous in his 30 or so minutes. Chelsea are overloaded at forward. They've been rotating a high number of pricey players and none of them can really get in the groove. He's also been played out of position quite a bit for the coach to just get him game time.

On a game note, Danault is the team MVP this season. Elevates most of the folks he plays with.
