It isn't guessing to play the shooter -- its textbook and doing anything else will end your career pretty quickly. Fox got it right -- that was all on Iafallo and Kopitar.

maybe there's something to be said for mikey's skate interfering with the push but he did NOT play the shooter

Quick always agressively palys the shooter - diff w him and Peterson, is JQ always, always is ready to leap back the other way.. if you dont have the atheletic ability to do what JQ does, you cant overplay the shooter. Peterson looks terrible on both goals
