For all Zucker knew, Tage could have toe-picked and went down stupidly awkwardly. Zero way for him to determine that he got hit in the head.

Samuelsson was right there.....he's the one that needed to send Noesen into next millennium.

We know from Zucker's history he sticks up for his teammates, so Im inclined to believe this.

Was going to watch this game after dinner, but got spoiled so caught highlights.

The vision of Tage laying on the ice after clearly taking one to the head from Noesen......and NOBODY DOING ANYTHING?!!?! Are you joking me? This is freaking Lucic on Miller 2.0.

I just can't get over how they can look at their star laying face down on the ice, whether the hit was clean or not, and just be like "Hey that was dirty guys!" while shrugging to the ref. Like others, I've been watching less and less, and this ain't gonna help.

I'm just tired of watching kids flounder around on the ice, can we please, for the love of god bring in some real actual hockey players? All of these kids are talented, and no doubt will eventually succeed in the league, but we need real hockey players.

I believe it's Kulich that you're referring to, I'm choosing to give the 20 year old kid from Europe a pass because I'm hoping he'll learn from the situation.

Still expecting Dahlin to wind up having some sort of surgery before the end of the year to clean up whatever his lingering back issues are. It's certainly taken a chunk of his physical play away. Even with a bad back he looks damn decent, just shows off the rest of our team. Can we get some decent defensive guys in the top 4, preferably at least one of them being physica and RD.

I was watching the Canes broadcast last week and they were talking about what a great trade chip Zucker will be at the deadline and I'm like, "Effin no way, you do all you can to keep his ass in BUF." He's brought it every night for the full game.

Most folks conveniently overlook the hits the Sabres were dishing all game. But those hits were strategic and part of the flow of play. Not the bench clearing brawl many wanted.

We also ignore that Lindy considered retaliation but that went out the window when the Sabres not only failed to score in a 5-minute power play, but gave to shorty to cut the lead to one.

But like most things on Sabrespace, facts be damned when there's a good narrative to pounded into the ground.
