Boring ass game.
Drew looked really good I thought. As did the Danault line in the first. Both Brown penalties in the first were BS. Thought he was looking good too. QB didn't look as good as last game, but that is to be expected with a kid playing in what his 8th NHL game, and only like 40 something pro game.
still not a fan of Roy, but every time I slander him on here he picks his game up. Hope that happens right now.
despite the W thought Cal really struggled last night. Was all over the place in his positioning. Good for him for battling through.
 
Not our best game for sure, but anytime you get ~40 shots on the road it is not a total bad game. We played a little loose, sloppy and a little run and gun. Need to tighten up on the back end. We really miss Edler just for his pose, experience. The positives is that we can skate with any team in the NHL. Execution at high speed is where we see our lack of talent.

Glad we got the win, but I still cannot see this team making the playoffs how Kopi's minutes keep going up and the teams inconsistency. I just have a feeling a few of these teams struggling in the Pacific will eventually catch up if we don't get better. Just too much talent on the Oilers, Flames and even Canucks. We have a winning record against the east but at the end of the year we have to start beating teams in our division and looks like that might be our undoing.

No too concerned about the Oilers and Canucks They both have issues. The Flames have so many games to make up, even if they win half of them they will pass us and the Ducks at some point.

I think the Flames are definitely in. The third spot in the Pacific will come down to the Oilers, Kings or Ducks.
 
Dave Maloney not to be confused Dan Maloney who toiled for the Kings and played 2nd line LWing with Butch Goring...sure looks old...Dave not Dan who passed away this year(RIP) is like 60 something but looks much older
