I expected to lose to Tampa and Colorado, but not San Jose. You could feel the tide turning after that Seattle game. Losing Kempe was icing on the cake. At least the team is really starting to get an idea of where they are deficient.

This team looks so flat without Kempe. As much as I like Doughty and Kopitar, I’d rather shed the salary if they are gonna play like this. Kopitar did look better. I’m absolutely done with Maatta. You can definitely see the potential with Byfield. Dynamic skater, soft hands and the size. Going to be fun watching him develop.
