1 or both of Walker or Roy have to be gone for beginning of next year, for certain. Brandt Clarke will be ready for one of those spots. No way he goes back to the OHL. If Faber signs, he could even make the team, but fine if he starts in AHL. Grans has size. All 3 of then are RHD.

That leaves Edler's LHD spot for a tough D replacement. No room on the right.

Same problems as always for the Kings.

They have scored 3 or more goals in regulation in only 7 of their 22 games (32%). For comparison the Ducks have played 24 games and have scored 3 or more goals in regulation in 15 of them (63%).

I don't get it, multiple coaches, multiple GM's, different players but this team can just never figure out how to score goals or develop offensive players.

I think they wanted to make it Jim's booth and they brought in the perfect guy for that, a young guy no one had heard of. Bringing in Nickson would have made it Nick's booth.

Either way, the Kings are right up there as the worst broadcast duo in the league right now, it's painful to listen to a lot of nights.

The common denominator through it all is the core. Kopitar is still good but doesnt play with the intensity of a number 1 center anymore. Doughty is also still good but they looked as good if not better when he was out of the lineup. Its time to face the facts and move on from them two and Brown. These guys have been here almost 20 years and it was great but its over. No reason to be trotting them out to play almost half the game.
They have 3 top 10 picks in Byfield Turcotte and Vilardi they refuse to integrate into top roles right now even though they keep losing anyway. Bring these guys in and let Danault Iafallo Kempe and Arvidsson be the responsible veterans. Also bringing in lower cost older veterans like Edler and Staal if you need wouldnt do harm in lesser roles.

Try this then...Because he didn't play well when he was here and had a real hard time adjusting to the NHL. your original comment makes it sound like he's a scoring machine and deserves top ice time. He's in a lower league right now and he's got 1 single goal.

Needed to be faster after Dean. As expected, no experience Bowlby leaned all the way in to the new NHL and just went complete opposite of DL.

So easy to get tough, difference making players that Tampa had to trade two firsts to get them while Blake keeps drafting soft, high scoring junior players. Make a f***ing signature move and go off the board for a need. Maybe Helenius is that pick but f*** it's his fifth draft. So many of the same soft as baby shit prospects.

The Clifford as a culture changer thing is always so funny to us but the guy saying that is the actual dude and I'm just an asshole waiting for a pizza. Even Hoven was saying this guy would never be traded. Blake's pipeline doesn't appear to have any tone setters unless Turcotte hits.

I always thought it was Nickson who said he wanted to stay in the booth. I don't have a problem with our guys, except at times, Jim talks more than he needs, something Bob could always keep in check.
