Danault's contract might be a year or two long, but he's worth it.
People blaming AA for that tying goal are clueless. Kings defense had touches and didn't get it out, and then Anderson broke his stick, making it 4 on 6

Wasn't his fault at all, but he is proven to be light in coverage and shouldn't have been out there that late. No, it wasn't because of an icing, he was sent out as part of that unit.

He is a fine player, the Kings just don't need him.

This, he shouldn't even have been out there. that's a TM messup, put out the guy who is questionable defensively anyway playing not even his tenth minute with the new guy to defend the lead. Wasn't his fault but it was very apparent how lost he was.

Brendan Lemieux really set the tone tonight.

Amen, dude is just enough psycho to keep everyone honest. I loved that 2 he took. Even if it had blown that game, that would have been losing the battle to win the war, you know he's looking out for you.

Ferraro is a great call. Bucci does college and Cohn is a good writer and fan...as a crew they were just having a lot of fun and they know their stuff. I'll say it sounded more like NCAA than NHL but I enjoyed it.

Exactly, just some guys having fun and talking about the games, it's what I want. Shit even Liam has actually loosened up and I was not expecting that. He was so uptight on NBCSN, but he seems to be feeding off his co panelists and it's refreshing.

I usually watch the opposing teams' feed.

I liked the TSN broadcast the other night against Montreal.

Some of my favorites...Clauge made a couple of soft plays but you can handle those when he's making plays like the one to Brown that he flubbed. Dude brings a different look and we need that.

Props to Lizotte, he played his role to a T tonight.

Lemieux...deserved more minutes.

Kupari showing well even when not on the scoresheet, that should keep him in the NHL. He just has more 'presence' and purpose now, it's awesome to see. And he has all the tools, as well, just flying around out there, good prototypical size, etc.

Kopitar 23 min again. Great management TM. Played more than anyone but Matt Roy. Dude's gonna be toast by game 40, mark it.

PP was an absolute embarrassment again, the Kaliyev goal could have been any non-PP faceoff really.

That last minute defense...come on guys.

Sloppy game but way to gut it out...but that has the feel of the last game of a winning streak.

Brendan is a double-edged sword.
If he had the offensive impact of his dad, I'd get it a lot more. I love that he hits and plays physical.
But he's a light middleweight whose antics can sometimes be harmful.
Claude stirred things up the same way.
But he also scored 10 goals in a playoff season at 20 years old.

I hope Brendan can find another level in his game and get to ... Sean Avery level.

We really need Arvidsson back IMO. Top line hasn't look the same with out him. If you're going to have Kopitar and Brown paired together, I think you need someone speedy and energetic on the other wing.

Kings are 5-2 at home.
