Give me Saliba + 60£ invested elsewhere over White and giving Saliba the middle finger for a 3rd straight year.

He isn't meant to play regularly. Gabriel is the starter.

I don't think you know what trio means, and you undersell White. Besides that, you nailed it.

Unfortunately one of these players is exiled.

Hopefully when Arteta goes, Saliba returns.

And then hopefully we go to a system where we pair Saliba and Gabriel with White in front of them dropping in and making it a three back stystem out of possession.

Yeah the biggest issue is the defensive midfield for me. Partey is solid and a good option, but they just need to upgrade on Xhaka.

Yeah the biggest issue is the defensive midfield for me. Partey is solid and a good option, but they just need to upgrade on Xhaka.

That or just let Xhaka play in a Swiss kit and watch the transformation. Seems night and day.

Ben White is expensive but still good and improves an area of need for sure. But until Arteta is gone I don't think it really matters where they upgrade.
