Frozen Fury will be on TNT, we will likely see some, if not all the other games on Bally.

As of this moment, there are ZERO listings for Kings games on Bally. However, there IS one listing for a Ducks/Sharks game next week on Bally. It's looking grim!

Let's see how many are on ESPN+ as it's the supposed NHL.TV replacement. I've got a few years on my NordVPN subscription at the ready.

Bally sports is a bit hard to navigate, but I had no issues finding the games on their last year once I knew how to find them. They definitely don't push and promote and have everything on the front page like FSN did, probably because their website isn't as regionalized. Hoping this year is more of the same, I actually think the quality and interface is a step up from FSGo or whatever it was.

Oh folks are talking preseason. My mistake, I'm talking about regular season.
I think there are only something like maybe 8 games between ABC/TNT/ESPN/ESPN+ for Kings broadcasts this season. For that reason, I'm probably not bothering with ESPN+. No point doubling my Disney+ cost.

This BTS pic coupled with his shirtless workout pic roughly two weeks ago clearly indicate D Brown has trimmed his figure this past summer.

Cheers to Dustin leading the team again in goals (but not winning over hearts and minds in his own household).

Glad to see he has the "A"

If this is his final season as a king would be a nice gesture if he gets the C in his final game. That is way down the road though

Supposedly all out-of-market games are going to be available on ESPN+ because it is replacing NHL TV. If you have VPN where you can select a different IP location you should be able to watch out-of-market games. I actually tested this with the Dodgers on an ESPN+ broadcast and it worked. Let's see what happens next month!

I’d love Dustin Brown to join the broadcast crew after this season. He could split duties with Stolly and partner up with Patrick O’Neal on the pre and post game shows.

Long term LD outlook.

UFA after upcoming season:
Morgan Reilly, TO trying to figure out how to re-sign him.
Ekholm

Chychrun, Sergachev, dreaming

Olli Joulevi might be a good poach either on waivers or next season with Van tapped on salary cap. His development has been held back by injury & at this point Van has the Left side covered.

Maybe Roy or Doughty can shift to LD?

Other ideas I'm missing?

Side note: Anyone think Blake has called Ottawa on B. Tkachuk.

Posting this here. I previously put it in the wrong thread.

Over the last few months, Doughty “worked my butt off to get in the best shape I could. I’m excited for this season to start.” He was very happy with the Kings’ summer after pressing the organization to push forward. “It wasn’t just me, (Kopitar was) thinking the same thing but he’s not going to say it. He’s reserved, unlike me, I kind of just talk. But everyone was thinking it. Who wouldn’t be thinking it? We’re not getting any younger. It was in their plan anyways, it wasn’t because I said anything.” He made it very clear he “took a lot of blame for himself” about the Kings’ recent struggles.
As he has mentioned several times, Doughty is highly motivated to play for Team Canada, notices when he’s left off Olympic projections and, as he says, “could win 10 Cups and I’d still want more.”

32 Thoughts: The state of the RFA market as training camps open

Glad to see Doty liked the moves. I know Blake stated he was but I wanted to get confirmation from a more independent source and not routed via management.

Didn't Doughty also like getting Maatta to help him on that first pairing? There's nothing else Doughty would say about Danault and Arvidsson. He's not going to say those weren't the guys he had in mind back in the spring. Naw, I meant Blake needed to get the star potential of Eichel and Laine, not a couple role players nearing 30 who might not score 35 combined goals.

I do believe all Doughty wants to do is be in a competitive environment though. He's been clearly one of the guys struggling the most with the sharp downfall of the Kings in fairly quick fashion after June 2014. Then especially everything since getting embarrassed by Vegas in 2018. It ate right into the general prime of his career. From the age of 25-31, Doughty has experienced 9 playoff games, with 1 single game victory, and it wasn't even on home ice.

Was hoping for longer for Cal. Especially with $5M cap hit, but this is not bad. Either he proves he is number 1 or LA has space to go get one in three years.

Love it, I'm glad to see Helen calling out the big boys.

Playoffs isn't make or break for me...IMO though, they absolutely have to be playing meaningful games in late March/April. If they do make the playoffs, that would be huge.

In this division playing meaningful games late is the minimum
