Clearly with the Kings losing MacD, and trading away Boko, this means we’re trading for Matt Tkachuk…right?….RIGHT???

Happy to see him back in the fold. Liked how his game seemed to improve throughout the season.

He had a solid showing at the Worlds.

bit of a strange contract, not that i have any reason to complain about it. was expecting a year or two more or slightly less money

i think he's important to this team's next couple seasons though so i'm glad to have him

Coming off a career year, I’m guessing that two years is the length Moore was comfortable with given the fact that he still has breakout potential. Will definitely cost more money after two years if the team intends to sign him to an extension, but a lot can change in that timeframe in terms of acquisitions and player development. Fair deal for both sides.

That's a great deal for Moore. He honestly reminds me of a young Trevor Lewis with a little more offensive upside. He's not the guy you want in the top six, but he'll make do when you've got injuries. Plus he always gives 110%. Love this signing and his style of play, what a great get considering he was kind of considered a throw-in.

It’s funny to hear all the internet experts rag on DeAngelo (not directed at anyone on our board). Quite frankly I think they’re all full of shit.

I’ve heard Mike Rupp say on a few occasions that he was loved in the room and there were a few guys on that team he talked to that were very irritated he was canned. But I’m sure the internet experts know more than Mike Rupp, an actual NHL player who played for both the Devils and Rangers and knows both teams inside and out.

This isn’t an endorsement or me saying we should sign him, I’m just tired of seeing people pile on this guy and act like they are in the room every game.

He's already 26, and over the last 2 years would be at 27pts per 82GP. I'm sure he'd like to test the market. Assuming he keeps up the numbers.

$1.875 is pretty damn cheap for that production. PK too.

Yeah, the guy that has been through three organizations, and was suspended then bought out by the last one before turning 25, is just a victim of internet keyboard cowboys.
