Blake seems to be very conservative throwing around picks and prospects and I know some won't like it but I appreciate it. IMHO, have to see what hits the ice this fall--before filling 'needs' have to find out what they are (other than EVERYTHING).

Mostly agreed that he didn't get involved. Some insane trades and a 9.5 AAV in a flat cap world seems insane - and I like Jones a lot. Bean or even Ghost might have been good D options. Bean for not much, Ghost you could have had for nothing, but we will see what he does here.

Not sure about that trade. I was pretty high on Hults, he struggled with injuries last season but still felt he could crack our lineup after another season in minors.

I understand the sentiment but Anderson, Bjornfot, Clague and Moverare are all younger LD and better than Hults.

Friedman was saying the Sabres really wanted a top goalie prospect, so that would put the Kings out considering their pipeline is lacking one of those.
