Another full week of no games is also good for Byram. I'm sure they're going to continue to be super patient with him but a full week of practicing and not missing games is a good thing for him. Also puts him on a bit more level playing field with the rest of the team as far as shaking off rust.

Same for Murray.

Well that didn't take long. But let's remember Byram skated at practice damn near all season last season in a regular sweater through his concussions. He's not back until he's in the lineup for a game and even then I'll be holding my breath the whole time.

Was this also during the practice? It looks like those players - Byram included - are helping with the goaler practice which doesn't have any hitting in it.
These are from today's practice and the official Avs twitter account posted pictures of him as well. I'm not Peter Baugh so I cant tell you what they're actually doing at the practice.

Not going to lie...not having hockey to watch is killing me, but the game postponements are probably the best thing to happen to this team this year.

Guys like toews/makar don't miss too many games, and Byram has a good chance of returning in the new year.

We'll be as healthy as we've ever been during the last 2 seasons when we return.

Same but it's the silver lining in the situation.

I wonder if it lasts longer than 19 minutes this time.

Not gonna hold my breath. Or I will because I won't have to hold it long.

It's always gonna be one big "if" with Byram. We're all going to cringe every time he even takes an innocuous hit. Just gonna have to hope for the best and prepare for the worst as we usually do.
