Trade for M Tkachuk. Trade for Graves. Sign Landeskog. Draft Luke Hughes.

Landeskog-Kopitar-Brown
Tkachuk-Byfield-Vilardi
Iafallo-Moore-Athanasiou
Lemieux/Lizotte-JAD-Grundstrom

Graves-Doughty
Hughes-Roy
Anderson/Bjornfot-Walker
Strand or MacD as extra

Peterson/Quick

Seattle takes Wagner
Clague and 2nd round pick for Graves
Akil Thomas, Kempe, picks for Tkachuk

Sign Doug Hamilton
Trade Turcotte, Fageamo, Kempe, first rounder for Eichel.
Go I to the season and assess where they are at.

Not sure if you guys seen this... What do you guys think of him?

Signing Hamilton opens up a huge trade chip in Roy and a smaller one in Walker. Doughty, Hamilton back to back cover at least 45 mins a night minimum on that right side. Throw Strand out there to mop up the remaining 12 - 15 mins and thats a good right side with Size and good offence.

Roy is a huge trade chip?

20 minute a night right shot Dman on a good contract should gather some interest.

I personally like our right side and wish there was a left hand shot Hamilton type out there

This team is far, far better off with Roy than Hamilton.
I like Roy, although I was kind of disappointed with him this season.

My point was though, calling him a "huge" trade chip seems kind of ridiculous. He's not going to be viewed by potential trading partners as anything more than a completely average NHL defensemen.

If I'm the Kraken & choosing between Clague & Lizzote, Wagner, Grundstrom, Quick is who I grab. There are younger goalie options out there, but losing Quick punches a much bigger hole in the heart & soul of a division rival than losing a 4th liner. Would force Cal into the starting role next season.

Not the heart and soul of a bottom of the league team with 1 playoff win in 7 years. Oh no.

Hadn’t heard at all. So who’s the new cap guru gonna be?
