That leaves out Lizotte, Andersson, Grundstrom, and Athanasiou. What about when Byfield is back? Does Turcotte get a shot this year?

If we need to tighten up with five or ten minutes left in the game, you can always consolidate and roll three lines.

I like the idea of Vialrdi with Danault and Iafallo.

I don't like Kaliyev on the top line. I would keep him in the bottom 6 but than also on the top PP

Is it time???.... I mean 2 goals in 15 games for a top line winger who plays the PP1 along side our best offensive player. Royal Caribbean sized anchor on a team that needs to score more than just 2 a night to win most games. Talking about no other than Dustin Brown. When are the coaches going to reduce his role and drop him down the lineup? A Moore Kupari Brown 3rd line would fit his role right now. Play his "physical" game and keep it simple.

Taking nothing away from his past accomplishments and cups etc.. but you got to think a top line winger to play alongside Kopi and Arvy is needed soon. Can Kempe\Arty step up there?

I think we still give him time to see how we works with Kopitar and Arvi.

I have and will always like the concept of the LAPD line, a Possession Center, Sniper and Grinder. While only Kopitar is as dynamic as the center in the LAPD line, I still think that Arvi, Kopi and Brown are the best top line option for the Kings. As bad as Brown may have been, I just dont see the player that comes in, maybe AA but Kempe isnt the guy.

How bad does he have to be? Constant turnovers, zero impact on the power play, no goals and just two assists in the last ten games - one of which was an empty netter in a blowout.

Does he have to start shooting pucks into his own net or leveling his teammates?

It's the last year of his contract. We as fans are just going to have to gut this one out. Maybe he'll catch a couple more rookies with their heads down in OT.

Really, they had an amazing 1st game of the season. Since then, it's been fairly pedestrian. Hoping having Arvidson back will get that line going again. I don't think they deserve a long leash though. Time they play meaningful games late this season.

I dont see anyone saying trade him right now or buy him out. Just move him down the lineup.
Minnesota has been beating the kings up with Brown in the lineup for years now so I dont think his physicality is scaring anyone at this point in time. If the Kings go on a run I would really love to see Brown play like a beast just like he used to also.

They'll be tough decisions to make about whether a role should go to a guy who's doing it the best right now, or whether it should go to a player with potential who can grow into it.

You can lay the occasional hit, and still not be physical.

Brown is not physical. Zero tenacity on the boards or in front of the net, he is an over the hill floater at this point, and a few decent hits spread out over weeks doesn’t change that.

Give his minutes to Lemieux, if you want physical.
