Was this posted anywhere? Some serious stuff here and many current NHLers were in that team.

According to the lawsuit, the players directed her to fondle her genitals, and perform oral sex on them. The players also allegedly straddled the plaintiff while placing their genitals in her face, slapped the plaintiff on her buttocks, spat on her, ejaculated in and on her, engaged in vaginal intercourse with her, pressured her from leaving the room when she tried to, and engaged in other sexual activities with her.

“The plaintiff has been required to undergo medical treatment and psychological counselling and will continue to require same indefinitely throughout her lifetime,” the claim said.

That sounds awful. At least we can say with almost certainty that Cale would never do anything like that. He's almost the perfect human. I'd be surprised if Timmins did too. Always seemed like a good mild mannered kid.

Yeah pretty sickening stuff. First thing I did when the news broke earlier was check the roster for anybody on the Avs. Fortunately for us the article is pretty emphatic about it involving 8 CHL players, which would mean Cale is probably in the clear, although he was at the Golf event.

Ultimately I totally understand why the women involved would want nothing to go public, not even the names of the players involved and ultimately I think it absolutely should be here decision on it, she's the one who suffered through the horrible events after all.

But its also frustrating to once again see rapists in hockey likely get off with no punishment at all simply because of who they are.

Tbh its probably not hard to figure out at least a couple of the guys involved... Charity event in London, with two London Knights on the roster would be a good place to start if the NHL decides to seriously pursuit what happened. But again if the girl doesn't want this to be public, tough spot for the NHL to get involved.

Didn't hear it but apparently Friedman talked about a possible trade involving Nylander and Gibson.

If you guys heard Gaudreau presser after their series loss, he's gone not staying in Calgary. He's talking about saying good bye to everyone, says it's sad etc... He's gone.

I gotta admit that I'm impressed with the Rags.

People here were giving Drury a ton of shit in the offseason for trading talent for toughness but it's paying off big time.

Yes Igor and Gallant are major reasons but the whole team is well balanced and is playing much, much better than expected. Both in the regular season and in the playoffs.

Trotz may not have a ton of goals on his teams, but his teams win and do it in the playoffs.
Meh, once upon a time his reputation was that he didn't know how to win in the playoffs.

The Stanley Cup win was with a roster unlike any he's ever coached before. Those Islanders teams could never score when it mattered. Part of that is Tampa/Vasilevskiy, part of that is Trotz. Vegas' roster doesn't strike me as one that would work with Trotz.
