My sister-in-law and her family used to live in Houston--it doesn't qualify as a horrible city to me (though I am still flabbergasted as to how overdeveloped and spread out it is) but it definitely has the most gawdawful airport I've ever been to.

I'd probably rank Philly lower than Houston, but I also haven't been there in a very long time.

If they move, it'll be Houston.
We'll see, the Rockets owner I heard got hit hard during the Covid shutdowns considering his businesses. I think Kansas City (main one after Houston) and Wisconsin are other real possibilities. You also can't forget about Paul Allen and how he almost bought the Penguins to move them to Portland. He doesn't want an expansion team, but has floated around the idea of buying an already established one.

KC has about zero chance right now... Milwaukee would have a shot. But Bettman wants Houston and we know he tends to get what he wants.

Which Naples?

Send them to QC. I don’t really think it’s big enough to be the healthiest of markets, but it’ll definitely be better than Arizona
The big problem with that that I see is the divisional realignment they would have to do. The new Nordiques can't stay in the Central, after all. They'd have to kick somebody over from the East to the West, and that would be a headache. I think that as much as anything is going to be a hurdle to moving the Yotes to QC, Houston makes much more sense in that regard.

The bad one.

Realistically neither Naples is worse than Detroit. Even though Naples, Italy is a crime ridden shithole it has great access to the Amalfi coast and good food. And while Naples, FL does have a lot of dying snowbirds on oxygen tanks, the weather and beaches are great and it’s a pretty good place to live if you have money

Naples, Italy is arguably the dirtiest, most trash filled city in the developed world. And I mean actual trash. You expect it in 3rd world countries, but Naples is utterly awful. That place sucks.

Detroit is bad, but there are some really nice areas. Also has great beaches. Great food (maybe most underrated part of Detroit). Don't get me wrong it is a shithole of a town, but it isn't nearly the worst in the US and is miles ahead of Naples. Detroit of 2012 isn't the Detroit of today.
