Bowness and Trotz don't really coach all that differently. The Stars just aren't very good and yet they're up 2-1 on Calgary because they trap the f*** out of the Flames and rely on Oettinger to bail them out when shit hits the fan.

I still expect Calgary to win that series though it will be close, but Trotz wouldn't do much for the Stars that Bowness hasn't been.

I didn’t hate the style the Caps played with Trotz, its just most of the teams he’s coached over the years were devoid of talent.

I actually quite like Bednar and his adjustments this year… but if the Avs get bounced early again I think you seriously consider making a run at Trotz.
