Great breakup on a 2 on 1 by Jones. Leads to the transition goal there. Zegras is phenomenal. If only we were able to get that 8th pick from Edmonton.

Miller still got a bit of a learning curve ahead of him to fine tune his defensive game. At the same time, I don’t think he has any big issues.

BUT, he is top-notch at stepping up players high/early, and that is both tremendously valuable as well as a rare ability in a defender. He is also quick when going out to the corners fetching pucks and putting pressure on forward.

Miller have faced some criticism but I am still always really impressed when I see him play. Think he has a real unique and valuable combination of abilities.

He’s a typical project that’s really good at the things you can’t teach, but he’s pretty far behind in the things you can teach (at the moment anyway)
