Calling a 4-1 win for Dallas. Tampa's gassed and got injuries to Point and Stamkos.
I would go nuts, it would be the biggest thing for me since Finland won WJC and WC, i really want Dallas and the Finns to win that cup, Klingberg is my favourite Swede too so.

A Stars sweep is "In The Cards"..... Let me explain

A 7 Game Series win
A 6 Game Series win
A 5 Game Series win
Add a 4 Game Series win

And we have a "Four Card Straight"........Now that's a Winning Hand

Dallas actually plays a similar tight checking system like NYI, they have better defenders though. Speaking of D, this is the best I've seen Tampa defend. They occasionally turn the puck over, but they stack the blueline well and do not give much interior chances. Dallas also has more firepower than NYI. If some things go their way, they can take Tampa down IMHO (e.g. injuries).

Given the territory I'm rooting for Dallas, but Tampa is locked in.

You’d think Tampa will suffer the same fate here NYI did in game 1 against them. It won’t be 8-2 but I think they might lose 4-0 or something along those lines

This'll be an absolute heartbreaker for either team...
Tampa has had so many deep runs and has yet to win it all...
Except for that apparently forgettable SCF series in 2004 when Tampa really did "win it all," beating the Flames in 7 games.

Yeah, Bowness religiously rolls four lines (seemingly no matter the score), so not surprised to see the only forward in our top 5 TOI is under 20min/night.

I still can’t believe the nhl decided to cram the SCF into such a short period. Back to back games in 4 & 5. I get wanting two Saturday night games. Just needed to add TWO more off days to make that happen and increase the probability of a superior product.

Silly and short sighted

Voted Dallas in seven, but Tampa has kinda that same feel to it like the Caps did few years ago when they finally beat the Pens. Either way I'm happy. I like both teams.

Brain says Tampa, gut says Stars.

Will be a great series. If Tampa wins game 1, I'll put some money on the Stars.

Oh and could the Stars just kick Perry out of the team? Thanks.

Hoping for a good, clean series with no additional injuries for either side. Dallas is a team and a fan base that (at least thus far) I really have no dislike for - in fact they were the team I was pulling for to win the West. Both teams have several veterans who have yet to win a Cup and it’ll be a great story whoever ends up doing so. May the better team win!

Lightning in 5. Actually feel quite strongly about this. I think this will be ‘easy’ for Lightning as compared to Isles.

I think Game 1 will show which team is better. After that, it will probably come down to injuries, dumb penalties, and blind luck goals.

There is one thing Dallas has been showing in these playoffs that Tampa hasn't is the ability to elevate the game for a stretch of 7-10 minutes in each game and score goals in bunches. In very many games Dallas has been cruising defensively but then boom, they flip the switch and they dominate for a number of shifts, score goals and go back to cruising. The same ability was shown by the Pens 3 and 4 years ago. I think that ability would be the deciding factor if the defense/goaltending holds the fort.

$100000 that Dallas City officials give the same vague speak. Stop trying to make something out of nothing. There is no parade planned. SMDH.

No, the city of Dallas learned their lesson when in 2006 they had the entire parade ready to go when the Mavericks were up 2-0 in the finals before getting cheated by the refs which was affirmed by a dirty one.
