Drysdale speaks better than many NHL players.

He seem to have good leadership qualities, I think it flies well with out management.

I see a lot of Kopitar in Lundell. Wouldn’t shock me to see him go early.

IMO if everything goes right for Lundell, he could end up developing into a Mikko Koivu type player. And it's not like there's anything wrong with that, I really would like to see that happen, but I just don't see him having the upside of a Kopitar type. As an example, compare draft-year Lundell with draft-year Barkov, and it's not really close.

I think that we need to go for higher upside, especially with a 6th overall pick. Trevor Z is possibly one of the best prospects in the world right now, but IMO that's no reason to stop drafting other high-end talents. Would be pleased to see us pick one of Rossi/Perfetti/Drysdale. Perfetti especially is growing on me, together with Z they could have game-breaking potential...

I think his max upside is a better ROR.

I remember that was one of the big selling points with Terry: he interviewed really well and whenever he talked to reporters he always seemed like an intelligent and mature person. I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Drysdale being something along those lines holds water with our front office.

Over Stutzle?

Depends on their ranking. I have no clue how this looks like. But going with two players that are used to each other for some time is interesting. And Raymond at #3 and Holtz at #5 is not half as much off the board when they selected Erik Karlsson.

Peter Holland must have been a superstar then, just like Etem ;-)

Massively pass on Lundell, don't want that pick to end up like when they drafted Peter Holland.

Apparently Detroit have been turned off Perfetti and I keep seeing Detroit media talking about how Drysdale would be a great fit for them, even tho they got Seider last year.

If I were OTT, I'd go with Raymond and Holtz or Rossi and Quinn.

At that point, Sens might be better off trading back. Would you do 6th+27th for 3 to get Stutzle? This would guarantee the Sens would get two of those guys (and a pretty good chance at being able to take Raymond at 5) plus picking up a 1st. The Ducks could jump up a tier in player.

They would not do that...

The Sens have so much young depth already, also own three 1sts and four 2nds for this year and really aren't set at any one position besides maybe LD. Their best move would be to just draft BPA at both 3 and 5.

I've seen Hendrix Lapierre all over the place in rankings, even as far as 30th. Would be a huge upside pick at 27.
