OT: 2020 Football Thread: We Still Suck

Yeah I said it a week or two back, the guys never stopped playing in any game. They never quit. They just had a tragic lack of talent and some of the worst coaching I've ever seen. You can't win when half of your lineup is made up of guys who don't even belong on a decent team's active roster.

I did take solace during this horrible season that the players still played hard.
 
I'm not very smart so can you explain what you mean slowly?

I'm so disgusted about this team. Here is it we all invest all this energy into them losing so they can get this generational player and they can't even do that right.

This team has been cursed ever since Joe Willie made that deal with the devil back in 1969 in order for us to have won that Super Bowl. Nothing has changed....we are F'D!!

Say hello to Justin Fields cause that's who Douglass is going to pick I have no doubt in my mind about this with the 2nd overall even tho he should trade the pick for a haul.
 
Justin Fields is a really nice prospect in his own right. He's not Trevor Lawrence, but he's still pretty damn good.

If you drafted Fields the right thing to do would then be to sign a veteran QB to start all of 2021 while Fields learns.

Watching Darnold today, I wouldn't be surprised if they traded the #2 pick and kept him.

i think Darnold looked good. Not sure i would trust Penei Sewell b/c he was off a year but my gosh, if he’s legit look at the bookends.

I still think Trubinsky can lose to the Jags though

if the Jets look to trade the pick. Could see Dallas pay up.
 
Judge has done some good, but the in-fighting with the O-line coach, which seems to have affected the offense in the last couple weeks, his decision to start Jones last week, and his continued risk taking all the while the special teams has kind of sucked for many weeks, points to some reasons as to why this team may actually be underperforming. They're not world beaters, but they do appear to be better than their record.
 
outcoached bad. giants shud have been up 9-7 in this game. 2 dumbass go for its made it 7-3. now the game is out of reach

So let me get this straight; you're playing with a backup QB and backup O Coordinator and you go for it twice on 4th downs? That's not good coaching.

I thought they got rid of this riverboat gambler nonsense with McAdoo.

They needed to go 2-2 to end the year. Now they need to go 2-0.
