At least Bill B didn't have the pleasure of giving the Jets their first win in week 17, that would have been the more heartbreaking scenario anyways, so if it was going to happen, rather it happen now.

Bears are in the hunt for the 7 seed all of a sudden, I don't see any way they lose next week.

He would have wasted it on the Jets anyway. I'm happy for the win. I absolutely hate the tanking mentality.

That said, for those people who thought Lawrence would have pulled a Manning on the Jets who's to say he won't pull the same crap on the jaguars? In fact the Jets actually have the draft capital to switch places if it comes to that.

The jags. the jets have an almost historically strong strength of schedule and its mathmatically impossible for the jags to overtake them at this point.

I'm honestly not trying to rub salt in the wounds but I can't stand the "I have a bigger (blank) than you because I'm such a winner who would rather go 1-15 and possibly lose out on a generational QB rather than 0-16 and get that QB". This is not me gloating, I just f***ing hate that mindset and feel like it's appropriate for the conversation.

Edit: I'm familiar with that mindset since the Giants have sucked forever.
