It'll be interesting to see the camp invites, the undrafted players in particular. I hope that Mercer is there among those that are very borderline. Hopefully it helps that he's 18.
Him being 18 certainly won't hurt his case. I'm looking forward to this afternoon's reveal. Some names that I'm really hoping make the listIt'll be interesting to see the camp invites, the undrafted players in particular. I hope that Mercer is there among those that are very borderline. you mean 18 and undrafted. due to late b-day?
as oppose to undrafted players. i.e 17 year olds.
hyped for the big Sport Chek corporate reveal.
and the more Newfoundlanders on the team the better. Make it a kitchen party in the Czech Rep.
Yes, one of the most annoying things regarding WJC coverage is when they talk about a player being draft eligible as a negative even though the player is 18 and is in his third year of junior.
I think it's been 10 years since there's been a Newfoundlander on the team, and without doing a lot of research I don't think that there has ever been two. It's becoming pretty common for Atlantic players to make team Canada, which is good.
Slaney and who? It was only 1 year as far as I'm awareWell, I remember fondly the days when Newfoundlanders scored the gold medal clinching goals in consecutive years. That goes back in the archives a bit. It would be nice for history to repeat itself. this year and next.

Right you areDwayne Norris the year earlier. Helsinki tournament if memory serves.
Lovely get the first freakout from an NHL fanbase going right away!Jett Woo did not receive an invite per Rick Dhaliwal on Twitter
As a Flames fan I do to.Hope to see Pelletier make it.
No Poulin or Rees are particularly annoying.HC invited a lot of draft eligible players and had some bad omissions as usual like Poulin, Tracey, Tomasino, Woo and Korczak.
They never/rarely ever do. He’ll be released to go, as will Hayton, Dobson, and hopefully Dach.https://www.tsn.ca/alexis-lafrenier...-championship-selection-camp-roster-1.1406887
No pro players on the list, not even Veleno as of yet.
on the broadcast they said the pro players won't be on the list. Bob said they expect to have Veleno and Dobson but unlikely for Hayton and almost no chance for Dachhttps://www.tsn.ca/alexis-lafrenier...-championship-selection-camp-roster-1.1406887

Newhook might be starting to play his way onto the team. 11 points in his last 7 games. Second among all NCAA freshman in goals. He's already known for his defensive play. Plays all situations including PK. He may get a look as a depth role player.
