Agreed I don’t know why they haven’t tried Thomas on that top spot, he’s a much better passer than Foote. Faster as well.

Yes, I would like to see Cozens, who has looked pretty good, move to centre and Thomas with Hayton. Thomas is more of a playmaker, and with Hayton looking to shoot or stickhandle almost every time it looks like he could use a passer on his line.

I would like that as well. I don't know that most players are taught how to effectively do that anymore, but it would be a significant boost to Canada's chances if they could exert physical pressure on opponents going forward.

That would be unbelievable. Canada would be playing with only 11 forwards. How could they take the game out of the players hands?

Beat the Czechs and beat the Germans, and then we finish 1st. We hold the tie breaker over the USA

Some of those players they cut. I question if it takes place rest of tourney. They did a good job of it for 40-50 mins in USA game.

It's taught in schools, and if not at home, it f***ing should be.

There are worse things to do during the game, and players often cross the line with other players, true. Those incidents are disrespectful to another person/player.

That was simply a kid not thinking to respect the sport and the moment.

Byfield needs to play center so he can use his speed and distribute the puck. Hayton needs to be on a checking line, he is trying to do way too much out there. If they tell Hayton his role is to shut down the oppositions players I think he will feel less pressure and will play alot looser, the game will come alot easier to him.
