What you have to understand about puck-possession play is the intention is to hold onto it long enough to draw defenders to you and open up ice for your line mates. Hayton is a master at it. He can thread the needle when the time comes to pass. The kid is fire.So you honestly believe that Hayton and Cozens have showed more up to this point? I dont see how anyone can objectively look at the situation and conjure up the idea that they like a player more because he might get drafted by their favorite team. Thats a pretty over the top assumption, his skill creativity and size have been on full display. Ferraro showed numerous clips of it in the game against the Swiss. It was fairly obvious to see. Same as Hayton not moving the puck and trying to do too much.
