Youre gonna get a Matta one?One thing is certain: these jerseys were beautiful. I might honestly buy one.

Great though, especially Kaliyev. It looked to me, from the little I saw, that he worked hard and was engaged. If he does that nightly then he will be a factor going forward. At least Kaliyev and Vilardi are getting minutes. That’s all I got.
I agree we don’t need him to be ‘great’ defensively but he needs to round out his game to some degree. Him scoring 40 goals a year but causing 60 against helps nobody. That said, I don’t think his all-around game is that bad. He used to cheat defensively in the OHL but that’s how Hamilton used him. He’s working hard on his overall game which is what he needs to do and he will be fine.Kaliyev did what he’s paid to do. I don’t think his overall play jumped out at you, but the same could be said of Luc his entire career. Similar types of players, knows where to be and knows how to finish. The Kings need his goal-scoring in the lineup more than they need to develop some all-around game which will probably never come to fruition anyways. I do have faith in this GM and coach to properly develop this type of player than the previous ones did.
LMFAO! Amadio actually played pretty good...is he a second liner,no but...a third, fourth liner,PK guy, yesDoes Todd McLellan hate me? Amadio at 2C? What did I do to hurt him?
Well done to Arty, proved me wrong. I was very low on him after the WJC due to his lack of effort in the defensive zone, but he was engaged tonight and couldn't fault his play.
They nearly have to bring up Bjornfoot for 5 games now just to bide some time before Roy comes back.
Disappointing to see how the system is being played this year. While last years team was horrible, when they played the system well they could dominate periods of play where the other team just couldnt get through the neutral zone and were struggling to even dump it in. Youve seen none of that this year, no standing up at the blue line, the other team just skates the puck in through a token defensive effort.
New slogan: Kings Hockey!...brutal and very boring.Sure, but I've liked the process this season. This is a joke lineup. Vets mailed it in like they always do when it seems like it doesn't matter. I'm tired of that shit but nothing is surprising tonight and I'm not going to put much weight into it.
And I think last season was so long ago that it's forgotten how trash it was. It was brutal and very boring.
I'm all for keeping fighting in the game but I understand the angle for removing staged fights off the face off. It's always seemed childish to me. A fight should be in the heat of the moment. This is the kind of game I think Turcotte would have excelled at, he has that constant energy, fights thru checks and constantly wins board battles which hopefully will get others at least engaging . And AK didn’t look as slow as advertised and was able to outmuscle a much bigger man on that goal, looked pretty impressive in easily the worst game the team played this year .....don’t understand a staged fight with no fansin the building
Stupid fight? It’s your rival let’s set the tone ASAP. Too bad the rest of the team didn’t show up. It’s exactly as Stoll said it was, Big Mac trying to get the team going for a game with their rivals and the team didn’t show up again.
Yeah but that’s not MacDermids fault. Doesn’t matter if it’s a fight at the start of the game or after a play like say Foligno ran Lizotte or whatever situation and then MacDermid fought him. That’s Blake’s fault. If your only physical presence is a defenseman you’re gonna be short on defensemen more often than not. Just another reason why this team could use another tough forward. So if Bennett really requested a trade from Calgary, Blake damn well better be making an offer.I get it, but the problem is that you are immediately disrupting your already disjointed defense pairings and risking losing another player on a busted knuckle or potential concussion while removing your only physical threat. It just happened in Minnesota, as soon as MacDermid had his staged fight and was off the ice, Minny started running everyone else. It wasn't smart, and it clearly didn't work - for the second time in a week.
Well, if he would have scored the 1-0 in the first minute i am sure the team would show up.Stupid fight? It’s your rival let’s set the tone ASAP. Too bad the rest of the team didn’t show up. That was just bad hockey.
Two bad teams.
Was something wrong with the ice? Guys on both teams following down and botching simple plays.

Youre right. They shouldn’t need it. But god imagine that game with no fight at the beginning. Maybe we get scored on ever quicker! The team didn’t show up from the get go, I’m not gonna fault the one player who did something to even try to get them going. The team should not need to be woken up 3 seconds in. Save that fight for when the team did not show up.
I always wonder with these opening faceoff tilts. Like the coaches must have planned it or at least given the green light to the players. The coaches put those guys out there who normally would not be taking the opening draw, so really my beef is not with MacD, he was just doing his job, my beef should be with the coaching staff.
Find another way to light a fire than removing a D from an already depleted group!!
