In the end, it was exciting. I really love his skating and vision. You can clearly see that he has the hockey sense to be great. At least there is something to look forward to seeing the rest of the season...

It's been a while since I've been picking up jerseys, but if I remember correctly bobcat used to do a really good job for customizations as well.

Edit: I think you may have actually been talking about bobcat and I hadn't noticed. My bad.

Yes, Bobcat is the team customizer, and therefore the most accurate source of Kings lettering. I’ve been a customer of theirs for many years, but for new customers it can be really difficult to get started with them because of communication issues.

The Kings have to be happy with how Byfield looked, he could have easily scored tonight, but it's beyond statistics, he passed the eye test that says he can be a 2nd line center in the NHL next year. That is the important thing.

If you want to talk about potential paths to the playoffs next season the Kings need one of their young prospects (IMO Kaliyev is the choice right now) to join QB and start to solve the terrible lack of skill on the wing.

Everybody complaining about Byfield not shooting, even though he led the team in shots with 4.

He was wide open in good places and didn't shoot. The times where he passed he was in a good Spot. Not gonna consider it complaining since deferring to vets is a thing.

Nothing looked hard for him.

He seemed to find himself in the right place at the right time.

These might sound like insignificant observations, but these are the traits the good players have.

At least we don't have to listen to Hayward talk about how great Fowler is and that he's an elite dman after scoring [ completely leaving out the earlier turnover].

I don't even care if we lost. Yes winning is always good but all I have to say is I'm just happy we didn't see Wagner and Luff. Hope we get to see Byfield again he will score if he keeps playing kid had a few glorious chances today. Absolutely ecstatic about his future.

Agree completely. He just looks the part, you can just tell he has a lot of talent. Doughty and Kopitar were the same way, you could tell right away even as teenagers.
