I wouldn’t recommend them at all for lettering. On the throwbacks they send the jerseys out to get lettered. On the reverse retro the characters are heat-pressed only, not stitched. The letters are pressed onto a nameplate, which the Kings do not use on their jerseys. The font is exactly the same for the Chevy retro (except for the colors), so I imagine the lettering job would be the same crap.
If you want a perfectly accurate job with the correct font and authentic kiss-cut stitched numbers, try Hockey Authentic in Vancouver. You can also get an authentic job with the Kings’ official team letterer in Huntington Park, but they can be really hit or miss with communication. They might reply to your inquiry, or perhaps not at all.
