Vegas is the 7th best team in the league since 17-18, with the 2nd most playoff games played, and the 2nd best playoff win%. While the Kings are 26th, and tied for the 2nd fewest playoff games played, and 0 playoff wins.

Wouldn't make sense for Vegas to fold because of a little adversity. The Kings probably used the following decade's worth of all that moxie up in 2014.
